Posted Dec 25th 2009 3:04PM by TMZ Staff

Christmas at the Kardashians -- someone has to get punch drunk, right? Who knew the pastor who married Khloe would take it on the chin.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Bruce Jenner dialed 911 last night at around 7 PM, after his neighbor allegedly went ballistic at the valet stand outside the Kardashian's Hidden Hills home.

Our sources say witnesses told police the neighbor appeared intoxicated as he protested the valet situation -- and at one point fell over and cut his face.

Sources close to the family tell us Pastor Brad -- the guy who married Khloe and Lamar -- was all about being Christian on Christmas and tried to help the neighbor up.

What he allegedly got for his good deed -- a right jab, courtesy of the neighbor.

Sources say Bruce got in the middle and broke it up. No one was arrested.

We're told the pastor is okay -- free to marry other wayward Los Angeles Lakers.

Posted Tuesday 22 December 04:47 PM By: Kara Warner

George Lopez has been a hard-working and prominent fixture in the comedic world for quite a while now, but 2009 seems to have been his busiest year yet. In addition to a Grammy-nominated performance for the HBO special 'Tall, Dark & Chicano,' (which is available on DVD, just in time for the holidays) Lopez launched a successful late night talk show on TBS. PopEater got a chance to chat with the funnyman recently about the HBO special, why President Obama likes being made fun of, his tips for a Tiger Woods comeback and why he won't get in a hot tub with the 'Jersey Shore' kids.

You've been all over the place this year, in a good way. When do you sleep?

I come from hardworking genes, man. Every year I do something I keep thinking that you can't exceed the next year. One thing I've done, every year since I quit my day job which was in '87, every year that I've done stand-up has been better than the year before. There are some years when you think it can't be better than the year before and it is. I'm not sure why that happens but I do know that I work really really hard. And I'm one of those people, this is the best analogy I've used. 'Slumdog Millionaire,' that guy knew all the answers, but he knew the answers in a hard life so for me when my grandparents were getting up at 5 a.m. -- they didn't care that I was sleeping, they'd make noise and play the radio at 5:30. Now I get up at 6 in the morning and I'm not drowsy at all. I jump in the shower, I get out, I go, and I believe it's because when they got up, they could care less about me sleeping.

In talking about your HBO special, what is the prep like for something that big?

First of all, I know I'm going to do them live. The first one, 'America's Mexican,' got nominated for a Grammy. This one is also nominated for a Grammy. So what I've done is, I believe the only way to make stand-up harder is to not use an introduction and to not use a chair and to not use water and a towel, and to do it live. Live you can't take back and to have reward, the risk is to do something live. When I did the first one it was like 7,000 people and the second, I thought, 'How can I make this more dangerous?' So I increased it to 14,000 and 85 minutes. Then you have to say, 'Okay, that's the standard for any comedian who wants to do a live special.' They can do 'em in front of 3,000 people, but if you want to supersede what's been done, do the biggest one. I think it's the biggest one.

Do you like how the HBO shows come out?

It's been great, they've all been great experiences. I've always wanted to do comedy from the time I was 11 years old, and to be able to have done it -- and then even to have the talk show and do that, because I was really insecure as a kid, I wasn't very confident and didn't come from the best family. To grind through all that and turn out pretty good at 48, it's amazing. I don't think people realize what I went through in my life, I don't even know if I realize, but it's turned out pretty good.

You project a positive outlook, I think people see that first.

The material is a little difficult but it's all based in truth. It's what Chris Rock would have done. I'm influenced by Chris Rock and Richard Pryor -- it's the same path that those guys would have been on, just through my perspective.

The talk show is great and you have some amazing guests week after week. Were you ever worried about that or having to call in favors of friends?

One of the things I'm happiest about is that I never really called any of my friends to come on, they just got booked through the show. I never picked up the phone and said, 'You gotta come on,' but when they come through, I'm really comfortable with them. I believe the show has a way of making people who you seen a certain way, be a little different. I thought 50 Cent was charming and funny, I thought Mariah Carey told stories about her mixed race I don't think I've seen her talk about.

Sandra Bullock, I saw her in a crazy outfit...

Oh yeah, we made Sandra Bullock into a gangster. It's fun. The intention of it is to have fun and to be a party. I didn't want to do gags, I reject a lot of gags. Like my guys will say 'Will you get in a hot tub with the guys from 'Jersey Shore,?' and I'm like 'Hell no.' I just said 'Bring 'em on and we'll talk.' I don't go for gags, I'm a comedian so if something that I feel it's corny, I'm not doing it.

How do you prepare for guests like the cast from 'Jersey Shore?' Because I would think as a comedian, they would be perfect for parody.

I let them talk. I said, 'What do you put in your hair, bro?' He said, 'Striker' or 'Spikes' or something. I said, 'Where do you get that? You have a tanning bed in your house man?' So it comes from a place of ridiculousness, instead of targeting them. I think the humor comes out of that. But those dudes are real dudes, I don't want to get my ass kicked by anyone from the 'Jersey Shore.'

How would you sum up the year for you as a comedian? It seems like the shenanigans have been particularly good this year.

It's always good, somebody always does something. The people sneaking into the White House was great, unfortunately for Tiger that's a wealth of material. I even told Obama, I said 'What's up with the security here at the White House?' He goes, 'You, you've been here twice in the last two months. You're like the house guest that won't leave.' They're aware. The President especially, he loves when you make fun of him. He doesn't like when you talk about health care, but you can talk about him all day.

Regarding Tiger, you're a big golf person -- has it been as big a shock within the golf community as it's been for everyone else?

Yeah I think everybody has been shocked by that. I know him a little bit but in late night, you have to talk about what you have to talk about. They're just jokes but it comes with the territory. I'm sure if anything happened to me the jokes would start that day.

What would be your tips for Tiger to repair some of the damage?

I think you have to come out and make a statement on something other than his Web site. Then you have to determine what's the situation going to be with his wife. Eventually you just try to pick up where you left off and let your clubs do the talking. There's situations where athletes have been booed until they help a team win a World Series and then all is forgotten.

Yeah, everyone loves a comeback.

They love a comeback - and they'll allow you to comeback if you show some humility. Humility is a tough thing to get these days.

I noticed that a lot of your fans compliment you for being a great role model in the Latino community. Do you feel any pressure there to be a certain way?

Nah, it's a tough thing. I work really hard. I think if people work hard, good things happen. I don't think of myself as carrying the flag, but I do understand the impact that I have. I don't understand how wide it is because I don't pay attention or read that stuff. I know I've done things that no one else has done and that means a lot to me.

Looking ahead to 2010, it looks like you've got a lot on your plate again. A couple movies, the talk show...

Yeah there are a couple movies that have been done. 'Valentine's Day' with Garry Marshall -- and everyone in Hollywood is in that one. That one I hear is very funny and great. It would be nice for me to have a movie that is that big that I'm good in. I understand that I'm good in 'Valentine's Day.' That would be great for that movie to do well. I've done movies, I did 'Henry Poole' with Luke Wilson but that was more of an indie, and I did 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua' but I was a voice actor, so actually I'd like to be an actor in it and have the movie do well. There are some other projects, but I'll focus on the talk show in 2010.

I see that you're on Twitter. How do you like it so far?

I am on Twitter. Somebody was me before and then we took the account away from them and I decided I would be me. What I don't like about Twitter, I don't mind criticism but I don't like personal attacks, that to me is like, 'Come on.' But also it's great to make people aware of how appreciative you are of their support. That's what Twitter is good for. It's nice to see what fans like and what they're not happy with. It can turn ugly too, there's a lot of that. The one thing about communication is that it's a breeding ground for hate and bias, that's the bad part about it.

By BET.com Staff

So how was Tiger Woods, perhaps the world’s most recognizable celebrity, able to keep so many lovers quiet for so long?

According to Courtney Hazlett, of MSNBC’s The Scoop, Woods was shelling out monthly mistress payments to the tune of up to $20,000 per month. Citing some of Woods’ alleged side pieces, Hazlett reports that he usually wired between $5,000 and $10,000 every month. One of the women reportedly was getting $20,000.
“The money comes via a wire transfer,” Hazlett quotes one of the women saying. “There’s no contract about it; there’s no discussion about what it’s for; but it’s implied that it’s in exchange for keeping quiet about his affair.”
Even in the days following his infamous SUV crash on Thanksgiving night – which ignited the firebomb about his copious illicit affairs – Woods stayed in touch with his highest-paid doxy, Hazlett reports. “Elin took his cell phone away, so he had to call from his land line at home,” she said. “He hasn’t called in at least a week though.”

Woods, who has lost at least one major sponsor in recent days because of the negative press swirling around him, has announced that he was taking a hiatus from professional golf to concentrate on becoming a better husband, father and human being.
In a statement released on his website, Woods revealed Friday evening that he will be taking an indefinte leave from the game of golf in order to spend time with his family and work on his marriage.

Here is the statement, in full:
I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children. I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness. It may not be possible to repair the damage I've done, but I want to do my best to try.

I would like to ask everyone, including my fans, the good people at my foundation, business partners, the PGA Tour, and my fellow competitors, for their understanding. What's most important now is that my family has the time, privacy, and safe haven we will need for personal healing.

After much soul searching, I have decided to take an indefinite break from professional golf. I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person.
Again, I ask for privacy for my family and I am especially grateful for all those who have offered compassion and concern during this difficult period.

The significance of this to the game of golf cannot be overstated. Woods is one of the most dominant figures in the game, and his absence from any tournament cuts ratings in half.

More importantly, though, this statement is the first time in which Woods has used the word "infidelity" in public, apparently giving credence to the many rumors which have spread over the last two weeks about his extramarital affairs.

But while the statement answers one major question, it raises several others. Will Woods speak out on his indiscretions? Will he seek to rehabilitate his image publicly, or let time heal? And when will he play again?

Woods was not scheduled to return to the golf course before the end of January. And, in fact, the golf season does not truly "begin" for most viewers until the Masters in early April, nearly four months away. Whether Woods will be ready for that is a question only he and his family can now answer.

Judd is the latest to poke fun at the golf sensation, grabbing a 'Tiger by the Tail.' The country comedian has taken the melody of the classic Buck Owens song and changed the lyrics to create his latest parody, 'Tiger by the Tail (The Tale of Tiger Woods).'

"Well, she beat Tiger all to hell, it's plain to see / Hit him in his golf balls from the black and blue tees / She was teed off from a tough lie, he tried to tell / And looks like she beat Tiger all to hell," Cledus sings in the opening verse, continuing with lyrics that get even racier ...

'Tiger By The Tail (The Tale Of Tiger Woods) '
(Harlan Howard, Buck Owens)
Adaption by Cledus T.
I had to post this article, because Tiger Woods is my favorite athlete and The Greatest Golfer of All Time.
P.S. Great article Jason!

Tiger's real crime? Not playing the media's game
by Jason Whitlock

You lied to yourself. Tiger Woods never feigned perfection on or off the golf course. He demanded privacy. He refused to bow to the whims and desires of the media.

The latter is the crime he is paying for today. His "mistreatment" of the media is fueling the hysteria over his private transgressions and the casting of Woods as the second coming of Barry Bonds, an arrogant, insufferable jerk unworthy of his perch atop the sports world.

Yes, the greatest golfer of all time made the same mistake as the greatest slugger: Tiger failed to show the proper amount of deference to the mainstream media.

I have no gripe with the blogs and the gossip rags. Paying for and printing gossip for profit is what they do. The tabloids prey on the rich and famous. TMZ, Us Weekly and the National Enquirer are not lying to their readership that they're going after Tiger because he's a role model, a teacher or a squeaky-clean product pitchman.

They're making it rain on bim-hos solely for profit and titillation. I respect that. They're journalistic strippers shaking their moneymakers. I'll gladly tuck a dollar in Us Weekly's g-string and the National Enquirer can join me in the champagne room for the next song.

My problem is with the ax-grinding alleged journalists who are pretending Tiger has committed some crime against humanity and/or exposed himself as a fraud, less fit to shill for AT&T, American Express or Nike.

These hypocrites want a level of transparency from a golfer they don't remotely approach as journalists.

You don't really believe all the mainstream-media righteous indignation and cries for a detailed explanation of Tiger's Thanksgiving-night driving are because the media suspected Tiger committed a serious crime?

No, you don't.

Tiger's critics — read them here, here, here, here, here, here and here — want the man publicly flogged and embarrassed, and they want him to beg the media to fix his public-relations problem. More than anything, the media, especially the print media, want to be needed. We're an insecure lot, dealing with festering childhood insecurities about popularity and sexuality.

If you're offended by that statement, you're exactly who I'm talking about.

I wish I had the time to individually dissect the disingenuous ramblings of Rick Reilly, Sally Jenkins, Jay Mariotti, Mike Lupica and all the rest. But I don't.

I will, however, make time for Charlie Pierce, the acclaimed sports writer who began his pursuit of Tiger in 1997 and returned this week to gloat about it at Esquire.com. Pierce, if you remember, is the writer who made national headlines in 1997 by getting the then-21-year-old Woods to consent to an interview and building a story around hilarious and immature jokes cracked by Woods and Tiger-is-a-messiah hyperbole spewed by Earl Woods.

Pierce's latest offering is an I-told-you-so column. He rages that Tiger's puritan image is phony and points out that he wrote in great detail in 1997 that Woods was a scandalous, tail-chasing hound.

I don't know how many rich, famous and good-looking 21-year-old athletes/men Charlie Pierce has interviewed. The ones I've met have all been scandalous, tail-chasing hounds. No different from the frat boys I met in college or the corner boys hustling on the block.

What sports world has Charlie Pierce been covering? The Tim Tebows are a rarity. Athletes — male and female — are, generally speaking, some of the most sexually aggressive people on the planet. They have perfectly sculpted bodies they love to show off. They have a self-confidence about their sexuality non-athletes generally don't have.

But this is deeper than just athletes. Has Pierce ever spent time at a wealthy golf country club? Men (and women) with money are, generally speaking, the second-most sexually aggressive people on the planet. Who the hell does Pierce thinks flies women like Rachel Uchitel around the globe to party?

Tiger, like all men and women, needs to be judged by his peers, not angry, 60-year-old virgins.

Pierce should've opened his column by admitting he dislikes Woods and his opinion is skewed by that bias. We're journalists. We're supposed to be transparent. Two weeks ago on Deadspin, Pierce trashed Bill Simmons and his New York Times-bestselling book. In that hit piece, Pierce failed to mention that he tried to befriend and mentor Simmons at the beginning of the decade and that in 2002 Simmons told Pierce to go (expletive) himself. That little nugget of information would've been very enlightening when reading Pierce's Deadspin take.

I'm sharing this because it's important for the public to know that the media act dishonestly all the time. We're far more phony than Tiger Woods ever could be.

Let me give you another example. Reilly, the millionaire columnist for ESPN, wrote a damning piece for Sports Illustrated in 2004 about then-Colorado football coach Gary Barnett and a female kicker who claimed she was raped by a couple of her teammates. Reilly blasted Barnett, saying the coach didn't properly monitor the more than 100 players on his team. Reilly never mentioned that just weeks before police investigated a sexual-assault allegation that stemmed from a high school party at Reilly's Denver home. Reilly was not at home at the time. But his children allegedly hosted a party at his home and a 14-year-old girl claimed she was assaulted by two high school football players.

This is the moral high horse Tiger's critics ride on. These are the people shouting on TV and whining in print that Tiger, in his last public statement, had the audacity to mildly criticize the way the mainstream media handled this controversy.

And Tiger never lied to us. Oh, he might have lied to himself, his wife and his kids. But he never lied to the public. From what little we know about Woods, his running buddies off the course are Jordan, Barkley and Ken Griffey Jr.

You know what they say about birds, feathers and flocks.

If you saw me at a strip club with Ronald McDonald, would you be shocked to see me at a drive-thru ordering a Big Mac at 3 a.m? Hell, no.

So why are we feigning shock that Tiger likes side dishes? Jordan and Barkley don't? PGA stands for Pussy Galore Association.

The media are lying to you. They won't tell you their real agenda.

This isn't about Tiger being a spokesman for major companies. He replaced Michael Jordan as the top product pitchman because he's the greatest golf champion we've ever seen. If a squeaky image led to endorsements, Billy Graham, TD Jakes and The Pope would all be pushing Tide, Gatorade, Crest and gym shoes.

The same clowns promoting the Tiger-image theory would tell you that Allen Iverson won endorsements with his bad-boy image.

People are attracted to greatness, and they'll enthusiastically embrace it as long as the owner of the great skill doesn't commit a heinous criminal act.

The worst anti-Tiger argument being made is the one about Tiger disrespecting the police by refusing to be interviewed. This is Sally Jenkins' pathetic argument in the Washington Post.

Newspapers are supposed to be the watchdogs of democracy. Journalists should know what separates us from the oppressive countries/governments we invade and/or despise. We're not a police state. We have a right to remain silent. We have the freedom to avoid self-incrimination and/or incriminating our spouse.

We have teenage boys and girls dying in foreign countries just so the police can't barge through our doors, detain us and force us to talk.

But Tiger is evil for exercising the most fundamental right we enjoy? He's stupid because he wants to deal with his marital problems in private? He owes the public an apology for promises he broke to his wife?

This is all a bad joke. This whole affair highlights why the mainstream media have lost the public's trust. We don't deserve it. We're controlled by hidden agendas.

Tiger won't invite us to his private party. And now that we've been given this slight opening, we're going to try to convince you that he's a horrible person, morally unfit to wear Jack Nicklaus' crown.

You can e-mail Jason at BallState0@aol.com or follow him on Facebook or Twitter.

The attorney for the woman who denied having an affair with golf giant Tiger Woods will make a public statement this morning.

High-profile lawyer Gloria Allred will hold a news conference at 2:30 a.m. (ET), a day after Woods issued a long, meandering apology on his Web site, admitting to “sins” and “transgressions” and asking for the public to allow him and his family to heal behind closed doors. She is representing Rachel Uchitel, a New York nightclub host, who rejected reports by The National Enquirer that she and Woods had an affair in Melbourne, during the golfer’s appearance at the Australian Open.

Hear the Audio: http://www.usmagazine.com/celebritynews/news/hear-tiger-panic-to-mistress-my-wife-may-be-calling-you-2009212

Both Woods and Uchitel have denied having an affair.

However, the allegation took on new life after Woods crashed his luxury SUV into a fire hydrant and tree in his affluent Orlando, Fla.-area neighborhood, and the Enquirer and celebrity gossip site TMZ.com attributed the accident to a domestic fight in which Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren, smashed the window of his vehicle with a golf club. Woods continues to deny that any fight occurred.

On Wednesday, US Weekly reported that Woods had an affair with another woman, Jaimee Grubbs, a 24-year-old Los Angeles cocktail waitress. Adding credibility to that story, the magazine published what it said is a voice message from Woods to Grubbs. On the recording, the voice says, “Hey, it’s Tiger. I need you to do me a favor. Can you please take your name off your phone? My wife went through my phone and may be calling you.”

In the statement that appeared on his Web site, Woods said, "I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone."

by Mike Krumboltz

Call it the crash heard 'round the world. Tiger Woods' car accident has led to many stunning revelations and a lot of rumors that won't go away. The golf legend has made his mea culpa — for the rest of the story and gossip tidbits, people are looking online. Below, we take a look at some of the drama's key players in Yahoo! Search and their rumored roles.

Elin Nordegren
The wife of Tiger Woods has been thrust into the Search spotlight over the past week. While no stranger to gawkers (she was once a model, after all), this level of Search attention has elevated Ms. Nordegren to a whole new level of public scrutiny. Over the past week, Web lookups have soared an astounding 2,832%. Additionally, related Searches on "elin nordegren pictures" spiked to new heights. She has yet to release an official statement on the sordid affair.

Jaimee Grubbs
In Tiger's boilerplate apology statement, he mentions "transgressions" that have let his family down. Though Tiger hasn't named names, Jaimee Grubbs has more than volunteered to explain her part in the troublesome situation. A Los Angeles cocktail waitress and former participant on the VH1 reality show "Tool Academy," Ms. Grubbs claims to have had a lengthy affair with Woods. Additionally, she has gone on record as saying she has pictures and hundreds of risqu text messages from the married golfer. Searches on "jaimee grubbs" and "jaimee grubbs photos" have both shot up from zip into the tens of thousands overnight. Last word: Claims to have had affair.

Rachel Uchitel
In contrast to Ms. Grubbs, Rachel Uchitel has strenuously denied the allegations that she and the world's best golfer have hooked up. Still, that hasn't stopped the Searches. Lookups on "rachel uchitel" and "who is rachel uchitel" have both rocked the Search box, as curious searchers seem unwilling to take her at her word. Time magazine has an interesting article on Ms. Uchitel. The 34-year-old nightclub promoter is reportedly "aggressive" when it comes to meeting celebrities (her mom claims she once dated Derek Jeter and A-Rod). However, in an exclusive interview with the New York Post, Uchitel has denied the allegations of a romance with Woods, even going so far as to offer to take a lie detector test. Last word: Denies affair.

Kalika Moquin
Lastly (or not?), there's Kalika Moquin. A relative newcomer to the Tiger watch, Ms. Moquin was named in Life & Style magazine as having romantic links to Tiger. As soon as that possible connection hit the Web, searches on Moquin roared into breakout status. Though her connection to Tiger is still just a rumor, folks clearly want to know more about her. Life & Style explains that she works as a marketing manager at a Las Vegas nightclub. According to the magazine, when Moquin was asked about an alleged affair, she neither confirmed not denied it, saying, "It's not appropriate for me to comment one way or the other." Last word: No comment.
